SOMETHING COMPASSIONATE

Here are some organizations that I resonate with. While making a donation please take the time to research their mission statements.

Gift me with jewelry from Landmine Design to support the prevention of human trafficking for women and children in Cambodia.

Landmine Design is an organization that works to prevent human trafficking, create dignified jobs, make education accessible, foster healthy families, and break cycles of poverty.

I have met the founder and hope to visit their organization in Cambodia one day. My dream is to one day volunteer my time with organizations that focus on the prevention of human trafficking, specifically in Southeast Asia.

The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and mental health organization for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning (LGBTQ) young people.

Urban Light protects boys and men by meeting their basic needs and EMPOWERS them through education, training, and counseling-all to give them the FREEDOM to choose a life beyond exploitation.

When I was a social work grad student and President of the International Social Work Caucus, I traveled to Thailand to learn more about human trafficking. I have personally met with the founder of Urban Light and learned about this incredible organization that serves a population that often gets overlooked.
